Delegates to the seventh session of the Governing Body of the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture met in plenary throughout the day to address items on: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development; the Funding Strategy; farmers’ rights; the Global Information System; and sustainable use. The budget committee, a Friends of the Chair group on farmers’ rights, and the contact group on enhancing the MLS met in the afternoon and evening.

IISD Reporting Services, through its Earth Negotiations Bulletin (ENB) Meeting Coverage, provided daily web coverage, daily reports, and a summary and analysis report from the 7th session of the Governing Body of the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture.
