The twelfth meeting of the Chemical Review Committee (CRC12) of the Rotterdam Convention convenes 14-16 September 2016 at the FAO headquarters in Rome, Italy. The Committee will consider notifications of final regulatory action for atrazine, benzidine and hexachlorobenzene. A proposal for the inclusion of carbofuran suspension concentrate 330 g/L as a severely hazardous pesticide formulation will also be considered. The Committee will also consider the draft decision guidance documents for carbofuran and carbosulfan, two chemicals that CRC11 had proposed for listing in Annex III to the Convention. |
