CITES PC22 The 22nd meeting of the Plants Committee (PC22) of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) will take place from 19-23 October 2015 in Tbilisi, Georgia.

CITES PC22 will address a number of issues under strategic matters, interpretation and implementation of the Convention, and regional matters. Issues for consideration under strategic matters include cooperation with other biodiversity-related multilateral environmental agreements, annotations for species listed in the CITES Appendixes, and capacity building. Under interpretation and implementation of the Convention, issues for consideration include: non-detriment findings, trade controls and marking, and exemptions and special trade provisions.
