From 2 - 4 November 1999, ministers and heads of delegation at the Fifth Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change met in a high-level segment. During this high-level segment, 93 ministers and other heads of delegation presented policy statements on behalf of their respective countries. These policy statements outlined country perspectives on a range of important issues related to the ongoing negotiations on climate change.
