Highlights for Thursday, 14 October 2010
On Thursday, 14 October 2010, IPCC 32 concluded in Busan, Republic of Korea. Delegates convened in several contact groups on IPCC processes and procedures, IPCC governance and management and the scope of the Synthesis Report of the 5th Assessment Report. Drafting groups met throughout the morning and early afternoon. This was followed by a closing plenary to adopt decisions on various issues. The plenary closed at 7:06pm.

Highlights for Tuesday, 12 October 2010
On Tuesday, 12 October 2010, the 32nd Session of the IPCC (IPCC 32) continued in Busan, Republic of Korea. Delegates convened in plenary for a presentation by Sir Peter Williams, The Royal Society, UK, on the InterAcademy Council Review of the processes and procedures of the IPCC, which was followed by a question and answer session. Contact groups convened on IPCC processes and procedures, IPCC governance and management, and the scope of the Synthesis Report of the 5th Assessment Report. A drafting group on governance and management continued late into the evening.   
Sir Peter Williams, Vice-President of The Royal Society, UK, and member of the IAC Review committee, presented the major findings and recommendations of the IAC.

Highlights for Monday, 11 October 2010
The 32nd Session of the IPCC (IPCC 32) opened on 11 October 2010 in Busan, Republic of Korea. The panel convened in plenary and adopted the agenda and the report of IPCC-31. The panel also commenced discussions on the IPCC programme and budget for the period 2010-2014, the scope of the Synthesis Report of the 5th Assessment Report, and the InterAcademy Review of the processes and procedures of the IPCC. Discussions on these issues will continue in contact groups on Tuesday morning. The evening concluded with a welcome dinner hosted by the Korea Meteorological Association and attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of South Korea Kim Hwang-sik.
