The 42nd Session of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC-42) will take place from 5 to 8 October 2015 in Dubrovnik, Croatia. IPCC-42 is expected to consider adjustments to the budgets for 2015-2018, hear reports on IPCC activities since IPCC-41, address procedural matters, and elect a new bureau, including a new IPCC Chair, Vice-Chairs, Working Group and Task Force Bureau Co-Chairs, and Working Group Vice-Chairs. The meeting will also cover issues related to the implementation of the IPCC Error Protocol and matters related to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and other international bodies.
