SBSTA CLOSING PLENARY:

SBSTA and SBI convened in Plenary  and adopted conclusions and the report of the sessions. In SBSTA, Chair Benrageb congratulated  UNFCCC staff member Claudio Forner and ENB writer Dagmar Lohan for their engagement. Chair Benrageb with a number of Parties made statements of farewell to outgoing SBSTA Coordinator Dennis Tirpak, who is retiring from the Secretariat. Both SBSTA and SBI Chairs thanked the delegates for their participation and look forward to seeing them in Buenos Aires for COP-10.
