The Bonn Climate Change Conference continued on Friday, 5 June. The Ad Hoc Working Group on the Durban Platform for Enhanced Action (ADP) facilitated groups convened on: finance and technology in the morning; timeframes, implementation and compliance, and capacity building in the afternoon; and workstream 2 (pre-2020 ambition) and transparency in the evening. The Thematic Expert Meeting (TEM) on accelerating energy efficiency in urban environments took place in the afternoon.

In the morning and afternoon, the second working group session of the multilateral assessment under the international assessment and review process took place.
A number of informal consultations under the Subsidiary Body on Scientific and Technical Advice (SBSTA) convened throughout the day. The in-session workshop on long-term finance, which continued in the afternoon, is summarized at: http://enb.iisd.org/climate/sb42/enbots/5jun.html#event1.
