The final day of the Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL) Forum convened on Friday, 6 June 2014 at UN Headquarters in New York. Following opening statements from Kandeh Yumkella, Chief Executive Officer, SE4ALL, Martin Sajdik, Austria's Permanent Representative to the UN and President of ECOSOC, Felipe Calderón, former President of Mexico, and Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson, President of Iceland, there was a high-level ministerial dialogue on energy in the post-2015 development agenda. Sixteen ministers, 33 government representatives, and 11 representatives of international organizations and NGOs addressed the Forum.

Many expressed strong support for the SE4ALL initiative, addressed the need for a Sustainable Development Goal on energy, and highlighted the role of sustainable energy in the post-2015 development agenda.
