UNFF10
The tenth session of the United Nations Forum on Forests (UNFF10) continued on Wednesday, 10 April. Plenary convened throughout the day. In the morning delegates addressed agenda items on: regional and subregional inputs; enhanced cooperation and policy and programme coordination, including the provision of further guidance to the Collaborative Partnership on Forests (CPF); and forests and economic development. In the afternoon a Multi-stakeholder Dialogue was convened.

Side events took place during the lunch period on: forests, post-2015 and the Rio+20 outcomes; the Asia Forest Partnership 2002-2012; afforestation and reforestation in Israel; the road from Oslo to the Madrid Extraordinary Ministerial Conference; European Forest Week 2013; evidence-based forestry; and advances in Amazon cooperation on deforestation monitoring. In the evening the UN Forests for People Awards were presented and UN Development Programme (UNDP), Turkey, launched a new initiative, "Turkey’s Forests for the Future We Want."
