Huddles Dominate UNFF8

In the morning of Tuesday, 28 April, delegates to the eighth session of the UN Forum on Forests (UNFF8) participated in a Multi-stakeholder Dialogue. Delegates heard statements from Major Groups on forests in a changing environment and on financing for sustainable forest management (SFM), and then engaged in a discussion and sharing of experiences on stakeholder involvement in SFM. Later in the morning, delegates met in Working Groups I and II. In the afternoon, WGI continued, and a contact group on financing for SFM met.
