POPRC Adopts 12 Decisions, Recommends to List Endosulfan
Geneva, 16 October—The sixth meeting of the Persistent Organic Pollutants Review Committee (POPRC 6) of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs), which convened from 11-15 October 2010, in Geneva, Switzerland, adopted 12 decisions, including on: support for effective participation in POPRC’s work; the work programmes on new POPs; and intersessional work on toxic interactions. IPCC to Implement IAC Recommendations
Busan, 15 October—The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), at its 32nd session from 11-14 October 2010, in Busan, Republic of Korea, discussed, inter alia: IPCC processes and procedures; IPCC governance and management; and the scope of the Synthesis Report of the 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
