Given the large number of actors and themes involved with setting the post-2015 development agenda, IISD began tracking the process in the second half of 2012 to enhance the transparency of related policy making.

Thanks to financial assistance from the Danish Government, we began publishing a bi-weekly Post-2015 Update, which is distributed through our POST2015-L listserv, in October 2012. The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation is making it possible for us to continue this work in 2013 and to develop a dedicated knowledgebase, Post-2015 Policy & Practice, to help policy makers track the activities feeding into this process.

This knowledgebase is part of our suite of knowledge management projects tracking international activities addressing sustainable development issues. All of our knowledgebase content is researched and written by our team of thematic experts, and each issue of Linkages Update features posts that were recently added to our knowledgebases. Our other knowledge management tools include:

In addition to tracking activities within UN agencies and other intergovernmental organizations, our team is also bringing first hand reports from events at UN Headquarters and from the thematic consultations. Examples in this issue of Linkages Update include: the meeting on the Post-2015 Development Agenda Consultation on Water: Water Resources Management and Wastewater Management and Water Quality; the Public Dialogue and Leadership Meeting on Addressing Inequalities in the Post-2015 Development Agenda; and a briefing on the latest meeting of the UN High-level Panel on the Post-2015 Development Agenda.

We welcome your feedback and suggestions for or newest knowledgebase.
