Mercury INC 1 convened for its third day on Wednesday, 9 June 2010, in Stockholm, Sweden.

During the morning, delegates continued their consideration of cluster issues, exchanging views on supply of mercury and demand for mercury in products and processes.

During the afternoon, delegates discussed issues associated with reducing the international trade of mercury, and considered ways to address mercury-containing waste and remediation of contaminated sites.

In the evening, delegates attended a Swiss-sponsored reception under the theme of “Synergies in the Chemicals and Waste Cluster.”
