On Wednesday, OEWG 33 delegates convened in plenary during the morning to hear reports from informal and contact groups and continue work on several agenda items. The TEAP Task Force reported that the informal group on guidance to the TEAP had met twice and now has sufficient guidance to complete its work before MOP 25. Delegates also discussed: TEAP operational and organizational issues; implications of the UN Commission for Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20) outcome document for SIDS; funding of production facilities for HCFCs; and, under other matters, a proposal on the MLF climate impact indicator.

Plenary adjourned in the afternoon to allow delegates to attend a series of contact groups and informal discussions, including on: additional funding from the MLF to maximize the climate benefits of accelerated phase-out of HCFCs; the terms of reference for the study of the 2015-2017 replenishment of the MLF for the implementation of the Montreal Protocol; HFC management (related to the proposed amendments to the Protocol); SIDS; and TEAP organizational and operational issues.
