On Friday, 12 May 2017 at the Bonn Climate talks, the multilateral assessment was among the main discussions of the day. During the meeting, developed countries presented progress in achieving their pledges to reduce their emissions. The multilateral assessment process provides an opportunity for accountability, interaction with other countries and for sharing of experiences and best practice.
