The facilitative dialogue for 2018 has been organized to review progress made towards the long-term Paris Agreement goal achieve net-zero emissions. The dialogue is considered a test run of the ambition mechanism. This mechanism, composed of five-year cycles is a process of strengthening mitigation and adaptation actions.
