On Thursday, 11 May 2017, the side event “Re-discovering the magnificent carbon storage potential of wetlands and peatlands” took place at the Bonn Climate Change Conference, presented by Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and partners. This video by IISD Reporting Services provides an overview of the event. The event highlighted the carbon storage potential of tropical wetlands and peatlands, highlighting research published in two newly launched reports to assist climate policy making.
