FINANCIAL RESOURCES AND MECHANISMS:
Pierre-Marc Johnson and
Bolong Sonko, the coordinators of the contact group on financial
resources and mechanisms, will continue to promote dialogue on
these issues during the intersessional period. It is hoped that
they will be able to prepare a draft negotiating text of Articles
20 and 21 before the Paris session. Look for discussions to take
place at the extended Bureau meetings, the Commission on
Sustainable Development and in more informal settings during the
next two months.
