THINGS TO LOOK FOR TODAY

PLENARY: The Plenary will meet at 10:00 am in Conference Room I to discuss the progress made so far in the negotiations and the programme of work for the rest of the week. The Plenary will also hear statements by UNDP Administrator James Gustave Speth, the Director-General of WMO and the Deputy-Director-General of FAO.

INFORMAL WORKING GROUP ON FINANCE: This Group is scheduled to meet immediately following the Plenary in Conference Room XII and is scheduled to meet through the evening until 9:00 pm. It is possible that after yesterday's discussion, the Bureau may alter the work programme.

INFORMAL WORKING GROUP ON THE LATIN AMERICAN AND CARIBBEAN ANNEX: This Group will continue discussions following this morning's Plenary, beginning with Articles 6 and 7. It is also expected to hear the report of the informal group addressing Articles 3 and 5.

INFORMAL WORKING GROUP ON THE AFRICAN ANNEX: This Group will continue discussion of Articles 16-21 at 3:00 pm.
