ARTICLE 26 -- COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION:
This Article
provides for a reporting mechanism by the Parties to the Convention
on the activities they have undertaken to meet their obligations.
Affected country Parties shall provide: a description of the
strategies established pursuant to Article 5 and detailed
descriptions of the programmes and their implementation. Developed
country Parties shall report on measures taken to assist in the
preparation and implementation of action programmes, including
information on financial resources provided. The COP shall
facilitate the provision to affected developing countries, on
request, of technical and financial support in compiling and
communicating information.
