Henrique Brandao Cavalcanti, Minister of Environment and the Amazon, spoke about the ad hoc open-ended intersessional working group on sectoral issues for 1995. No other groups, task forces or mechanisms should be set up. He suggested that: the Chairs of two ad hoc intersessional groups be designated quickly; there should be access to all; there should be a proper balance of topics; finance and technology transfer are relevant; and the group on sectoral issues should meet at least twice.
