B. Resource allocation:

Recommendations could include intensifying efforts to generate domestic resources to support all categories of population programme activities, with increased attention to selective use of user fees, social marketing, cost-sharing and other forms of cost-recovery.

XV. INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

A. Modalities: Selected topics for recommendations include coordination of international organizations and donor nations to encourage use of multilateral and bilateral mechanisms, including technical back-stopping, to guarantee consistency and continuity of support to programmes, based on the analysis of the impact and cost-effectiveness of such mechanisms and in line with comprehensive national development strategies.
