TANZANIA:

The delegate from Tanzania mentioned the need to address population-related issues such as food production, the pressure for provision of more jobs, shelter, education, health services and other social services, as well as the impact of population growth on the environment. National population policies and programmes can only be implemented with a heavy investment in both human and financial resources, and support from the international community is required.
