EMINENT PERSONS MEETING:
A Group of Eminent Persons has been
invited to meet in Barbados from 21-22 April 1994 to examine the
concept of sustainable development with special reference to SIDS
and to make recommendations to the Conference. The Governor-General
of Barbados, Her Excellency Dame Nita Barrow, has agreed to be
Patron and Convener of the Group and the names of the persons
invited to be members will be announced when the arrangements have
been finalized.
