SWITZERLAND:

The country continues its follow-up work to UNCED and is developing an action plan. As a headquarters for UN environmental organizations and conferences, Switzerland offered to provide the conference center for the COP and has asked for the Convention's permanent Secretariat, under the auspices of UNEP, to be located in Geneva.
