TIMING AND VENUE OF THE MEETING:

The issues of timing and venue still remained to be discussed. Indonesia reminded delegates of the Secretariat's proposed dates for the next session of the ICCBD in either January or June 1994. Mexico, having offered to host the ISTAC meeting, suggested holding it sometime between January and March 1994. Norway agreed, pointing out that the scientific meeting should be held at least one month prior to the next ICCBD session. The Working Group agreed that the Chair should raise the matter of timing and venue directly with the Secretariat
