SRI LANKA:
The delegate of Sri Lanka said that his country
has appointed a National Steering Committee from all sectors to
formulate, coordinate and implement the National Action Plan for
Habitat II and has identified and begun implementing several
programmes. Participatory approaches will be used to create an
enabling environment through community mobilization so that members
of the community assume responsibilities.
