INDONESIA:
The representative of Indonesia said that by the
year 2030 the urban population will be twice the size of the rural
population, and within the next 25 years, each country will find
itself tackling common human settlements and shelter issues as a
priority. South-South cooperation is an essential means to further
self-reliance among developing countries, and UNCHS should organize
technical assistance while the developed countries should make good
on their promises to provide additional aid.
