AMMAN, 12 August 2001 — An electronic chat room was launched by the National Information Center (NIC), in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), to engage Jordan's development community in national preparations for the World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD) in South Africa in 2002.
