Virtual Exhibit-10,000 hits per minute! The Virtual Exhibit website has been widely hailed as one of UNDP' success stories. At the height of today we had over 10,000 hits per minute. Highlights included the (i) Mark Malloch Borown talking about the success of the Equator Initiative and the desired outcomes of the Summit, (ii)Joaquim Chissano, President of Mozambique, (pictured here) linked live to teahers in his country talking about the importance of education in rural areas, (iii) Romano Prodi, President of the EC, joined by WWF Denmark and a youth representative to speak about Europe's role in Africa and the importance of partnerships, (iv) Lord Holme talking about business day, and finally (v) two shows about ICT, one African based and the other with Tim Wirth, President of the UN Foundation and Debra Dunn, Executive Vice President of Hewlett Packard on the role of ICT in sustainable development.
