UNFF12 delegates in informal consultation

The twelfth session of the UN Forum on Forests (UNFF12) convened for its final day on Friday, 5 May 2017. Delegates initially considered and adopted a procedural resolution on the extension of the UNFF Bureau's term-of-office, from one to two years. They then considered a draft omnibus resolution on MAR, MOI, enhanced cooperation and coordination, and inputs to the HLPF. Following discussion, the UNFF adopted the omnibus resolution. Following the adoption of the report of the session, and closing remarks, UNFF12 was closed at 1:01 pm.

Immediately following UNFF12, UNFF13 was opened with the sole purpose of electing the new UNFF Bureau. UNFF13 was suspended at 1:04 pm.
