Highlights from the closing day of the Convention on Migratory Species

The COW convened to consider draft resolutions on, inter alia: budgetary matters, juridical personality, privileges and immunities of the Convention Secretariat and Marine Turtles of the Indian Ocean and Southeast Asia. In the afternoon, delegated met in a closing Plenary session to finalize the work of COP-6.

On Tuesday, 16 November, the COW amended and adopted the resolution on financial and administrative matters (UNEP/CMS/Res 6.7 (Rev. 1)
