Summary
During morning, afternoon and evening sessions, the IPCC continued its consideration of the Sixth Assessment Report (AR6) Synthesis Report outline based on revised versions of the outline presented by the IPCC Vice-Chairs. The Vice-Chairs also presented revised additional guidance notes for the authors to consider that capture comments made in plenary.The Panel also discussed the agenda item on the Review of the Principles Governing IPCC Work and whether to establish a task group to identify potential elements in need of review. Views diverged as to whether this was necessary, and an informal group further discussed this issue in an evening session.
