On Thursday, the OEWG considered draft recommendations contained in the Chair’s Proposal, as well as new text proposals by various members. The discussions were organized under seven thematic clusters, focusing broadly on: information; participation and demand; infrastructure and financing; the broader landscape; production; capacity development; and implementation and follow up.

Meeting in plenary as well as informal consultations throughout the day and evening, participants finalized and adopted the final set of recommendations.

During the closing session in the evening, Chair Gebremedhin thanked all participants, the Secretariat and the Friends of the Chair group for their hard work. She declared the OEWG closed at 10:55 pm.
