The thirty-seventh meeting of the Open-ended Working Group (OEWG 37) of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer will be held from 4-8 April 2016 in Geneva, Switzerland.

OEWG 37, in accordance with the adoption of the Dubai pathway on hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), will consider, inter alia, the feasibility and ways of managing hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and the proposed amendments to the Protocol. Parties are expected to discuss the feasibility of managing HFCs by addressing the challenges and generating solutions, as well as ways of managing HFCs, including the proposals to amend the Protocol that were discussed by the Twenty-Seventh Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol (MOP 27). They will also consider the process and schedule for moving forward to an amendment in 2016.
