Danny Skilton

Danny Skilton is a Photographer and Digital Editor with Earth Negotiations Bulletin, based in Nairobi, Kenya. His work focuses on environmental governance, climate negotiations, and visual storytelling across East Africa and the wider Global South. He has documented high-level UN events, ministerial forums, and climate adaptation efforts, with a particular interest in how global policy translates into lived experience on the ground.

A Kenyan–British dual national, Danny joined the ENB team in 2025 and brings over five years of experience producing impact-driven visual media for international organisations, including the United Nations Environment Programme, where he led the development of digital exhibitions and multimedia campaigns. He also founded a production company focused on documentary, fiction film, and advocacy content related to conservation, climate justice, and Indigenous knowledge systems.

His work explores the intersection of policy, culture, and ecology, amplifying voices often excluded from formal decision-making spaces.
