Gabriella is an international lawyer based in France and has been a writer for the Earth Negotiations Bulletin team since 2023, covering a wide range of topics.

She serves as a lecturer in International Private Law and International Arbitration at Université Panthéon-Sorbonne. Throughout her career, Gabriella has conducted research and held fellowships at prestigious institutions, including the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Law and Private International Law in Hamburg, Germany; the University of Lucerne in Switzerland; and the Universidad de Buenos Aires in Argentina. Her research focuses on applying private law and private international law to support the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In addition, Gabriella has contributed her expertise to international organizations and the public and private sectors. Her projects have specifically addressed issues in agriculture and commercial law. 

Gabriella holds a Ph.D. in Private International Law from Paris-Panthéon-Assas University and a Master's degree in Private International Law and International Commercial Law from the same institution. She also earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Mato Grosso (UFMT) in Brazil.
