Kate Neville is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto in the Department of Political Science and the School of the Environment, with research interests in the political economy of energy, environmental activism, and resource governance.
She has been a writer with Earth Negotiations Bulletin since 2007. She holds a Ph.D in political science from the University of British Columbia, a Master’s Degree of Environmental Science from Yale University’s School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, and a BScH in biology from Queen’s University. Her post-doctoral research, at Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment, focused on hydraulic fracturing debates in the Yukon. When not in Toronto, you'll find her in an off-grid cabin at the BC-Yukon border.
