Maja Schmidt-Thomé

Maja Schmidt-Thomé holds an applied linguistics degree from the University of Saarland, in Germany, and is a qualified translator and conference Interpreter for Spanish and English. She has several years of experience in event management and event coordination. She has comprehensive knowledge of the UN system especially with UN associated NGO’s and Committees working on environmental issues. Maja’s focus of work has always been sustainable development, environmental politics, and waste management. Maja is German but has lived many years in many different countries and has picked up languages along the way Currently she speaks five different languages. She joined ENB in 2007 in the capacity of Operations Manager.
