Tomilola Akanle Eni-ibukun (Dr.)

Tomi is a lecturer in energy and environmental law at the University of Aberdeen, specializing in climate change, low-carbon development, and sustainable energy. Her research focuses on the policies, laws and mechanisms being used globally to address these issues. However, she engages with a wide range of environmental law issues, including sustainable chemicals management, environmental justice, and environmental implementation and enforcement. She has been part of the ENB team since 2007.
Tomi holds a Ph.D. in law from the University of Dundee; received her LL.B. from the University of Lagos in Nigeria and an LL.M. in international law from University College London. In addition to her work with ENB, Tomi works as a freelance environmental communicator and researcher, and has also lectured in several universities, including the University of St. Andrews, University of Dundee and University of Lagos, teaching international environmental and sustainable development law courses.
