The high level segment of COP 22 opened on Tuesday, 15 November. The session presents an opportunity for Heads of State, ministers and other dignitaries to provide political leadership and momentum to the negotiations. Gender Day was celebrated. The focus was on women as leaders, innovators, and agents of the transformation that climate change and achieving sustainable development demands.
