NETHERLANDS:

Minister of Housing, Physical Planning and the Environment Hans Alders stressed the Dutch commitment to national Agenda 21 implementation. He said there needs to be a national cultural discussion on changing production and consumption patterns. The Netherlands needs help from all over the world for ideas on how to decrease the use of energy. He announced a conference on drinking water in the Netherlands in early 1994.
