CSD-5 HIGHLIGHTS: FRIDAY, 18 APRIL 1997

CSD-5 delegates began negotiations on the compilation text during a morning meeting. Informal consultations and G-77/CHINA discussions took place during the afternoon. The dialogue sessions with major groups concluded following a discussion with business and industry and a synthesis session.
