CHILE:
Chile, on behalf of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil,
Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador (representing the States of
Central America), Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela,
supported the structure of the document and urged delegates to
focus on substance. Chile stressed: the importance of placing
humans at the center of population issues; the need to reaffirm
political support for population policies; and the need to
address international migration.
