STRADDLING FISH STOCKS AND HIGHLY MIGRATORY FISH STOCKS CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS: TUESDAY, 15 MARCH 1994

The informal session of the UN Conference on Straddling Fish Stocks and Highly Migratory Fish Stocks resumed on Tuesday morning. It was suggested that consideration of the precautionary approach to fisheries management, as detailed under Section I, paragraph 5 be delayed until after the convening of the working group, scheduled for 16-18 March. The informal session then proceeded to examine Section II of the Chair's negotiating text.
