THINGS TO LOOK FOR TODAY

PLENARY: The Plenary will open today with a report from the Working Group on the Precautionary Approach, which concluded its work on Friday evening. Look for circulation of the revised text under Section I, Paragraph 5. Rev.2*. The Chair will give consideration to the issue of Reference Points for Fisheries Management as tabled in document A/CONF.164/INF/9. Section IX of the Chair's negotiating text will then be considered. The Plenary should meet in parallel to the BRP Working Group this afternoon.

BIOLOGICAL REFERENCE POINTS WORKING GROUP: The first working session of the BRP Working Group will be convened by Chairman Nandan in Conference Room 6 at 3.00 p.m.
