The delegate said that the problems his country faces created by refugees, the withdrawal of armed forces and Chernobyl are extremely urgent and he expressed the hope that Habitat II will make available experiences from other countries and provide guidance. If the decisions taken at Habitat II are to be applicable to all countries, matters relevant to all must be found and the mistakes of Habitat I must be avoided.
