Wang Yan is a writer with Earth Negotiations Bulletin, as well as a PhD candidate in anthropology and an environment reporter with NewsChina magazine.
A Chinese national with a researching focus on cultural and biodiversity preservation, she has also covered international negotiation processes including UNCCD, UNFCCC,CBD and others for over a decade. Her works in environmental issues have won international awards including the Asian Environment Awards. With ENB since 2017, she continues her focus on and work for ENB on biodiversity, ocean, climate change issues.
