Highlights for Tuesday, 28 April 2009

On Tuesday, 28 April 2009, El-Sayed Sabry Mansour Nasr, Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency, welcomed workshop participants. After hearing some opening statements, participants engaged in a session on the scope of the workshop and introduction of the topic. In the afternoon, a session on understanding existing approaches, measures and tools was held, which was composed of a sectoral perspective (agriculture and food security), and a case study on the Caribbean perspective.
